ADVENT’S 14 TH ANNUAL

PRICELESS TREASURES SALE

It’s time again to go through your home and identify your “treasures” to donate to the sale. Our goal is to raise money for Christmas gifts for the children of the York Street Project in Jersey City. Please bring gently used items to church beginning Sun., October 16 (AFTER WORSHIP) through Fri., October 21 at 9 pm. Several large cartons will be set up for dona­tions. We need clean clothes, toys, books, records, tapes, CDS, videos, DVDs, games, puzzles, jewelry, kitchen items, linens, sports equipment, small appliances, knick-knacks, picture frames, etc.

Coffee and small baked goods are sold to raise additional funds. Can you donate some muffins, brownies or cookies? Please drop off baked goods on Friday, the 21st from 5-9 pm or Saturday before 9 a.m. We will need many volunteers before and after to sort, set up and clean up.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the CFA backpack drive and the congregation’s continued efforts to provide foodstuffs to area families via our meals to go program and CFA.

Through the support of these programs Advent serves as a role model in the commu­nity and our congregation demonstrates we practice what we preach: LOVE THY NEIGHBOR.
